A big Thank-You to Neil for hosting this great resource for Marsbar fans!

Nearly all shows from 2014, 2013 and 2012 are now online. Over the next week or so, I'll be adding most shows from 2011, and a few from 2010.

We'll also be adding some more historical material: the Ted Woloshyn Marsbar interview, parts of the Marsden final show at chumfm from 1975, some special non-podcast shows, and a bit of Green Room history.

Also planned is a .cue file template, some sample cue-sheet files and a tutorial on creating .cue files using Miss Parker's set-lists, so you can search shows by song in your music player. Maybe we can crowd-source and share these as well.

It's a work in progress and a labour of love, but we already have a large collection of great material online. A survival kit for mid-week Marsbar withdrawal symptoms.

Thanks again, Neil!

Update April 6, 2014:

All the podcast files we have back into 2010 are now online.

A few cuesheets are also available in the 2010 May and June podcast folders.

Due to the extraordinary production efforts which go into creating the Hallowe'en and Christmas shows, David has requested that those shows *not* be posted on the archive site. We will respect that request, and ask that all site users/contributors do the same.

All the other promised material will be uploaded over the next few weeks. Keep checking, there's a lot of great stuff to listen to when Marsbar's not on-air.

Hey Neil thanks for doing this. I have many shows as far back as 2003 and to early 2006 recorded (on VCR tapes) and a number of shows after that in mp3 format and even some Pulver Radio shows in mp3 files. There is a huge task to transfer the VCR tapes to mp3 files. I will have to dig out the stuff that's already in mp3 format - pretty sure I have that on some cd's and or dvd's.

Now that The Rock shows are done, trying to get as many shows as possible collected for posterity sounds like a good idea.

Ralph,
Thanks, anything you could contribute would be fantastic...I still have a bunch of material I already mentioned above which I have yet to upload to the site.
This kind of work is very time-consuming, and we all have busy lives. It will be appreciated though, and I believe this is an important archive to fill out with as much as we can.

Wha? VCR tapes? Hey!!!

I know who you are! You must be the Ralph D. who used to hang around alt.fan.cfny

You sent me some tapes. Not radio shows, compilation tapes of various obscure artists and rare tracks from back in the day.

I still have them!

Wow, that had to be close to fifteen years ago!

Great to see you here, Ralph, that's just amazing!
