Gordon Lightfoot opens the first of 10 shows in the UK and Ireland at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall tonight.

It's the 77 year-old's first time there since 1985.

He plays the Royal Albert Hall on the 24th, and has his next Canadian show at The Savoy Theatre in Glace Bay, NS on Aug. 19.
