It's the 8th annual CLOSER TO THE HEART benefit for the REGENT PARK SCHOOL OF MUSIC!

Guest singers sing 2 of their favourite Canadian cover songs with our fabulous all-star house band.

In the line-up so far: Sean Cullen (The Producers), David Diamond (The Kings), Stephen Stanley (ex-Lowest of the Low), Kevin Kane (Grapes of Wrath), Tara Slone (ex-Joydrop, co-host Rogers Hometown Hockey), Justin Nozuka, Joel Thomas Hynes (Orhpan Black), Julian Taylor (Staggered Crossing) and Hill Kourkoutis (Sky Heros, Serena Ryder) with more to be announced!

The Regent Park School of Music offers affordable music lessons to youth-in-need in the Regent Park, Parkdale,

Lawrence Heights and Jane-Finch areas of Toronto. The school currently teaches 1400 students in instrumental and vocal classes, starting from $1 per class thanks to subsidization. The RPSM aims to teach 3000 students!

We want to help them achieve that goal and give children access to affordable music classes.
