Hi everyone

I read about this in Neil Young's Autobiography, and now he is trying to bring his new invention to market. You have to see the video: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/neil-young-recruits-bruce-springsteen-dave-grohl-for-pono-kickstarter-20140311

Very Exciting!
Young was working with Steve Jobs and Apple at the time of Jobs' death developing the hardware for what i assume are rather large music files. At that time the project was stalled, but it's good to see Neil didn't give up and went the crowd funding route.
I think this venture might have some steam behind it but i'm not sure the market will be large enough to ensure success.

What an understatement.
In about a single day 6,491 backers pledged $2,117,026. They were looking for $800,000.

Hi Contact

That works out to $326 per person. There must be some folks with very deep pockets who want to see this happen -- big time.

And hey if we live long enough we will all have an "That will never..... opps! wait a sec, it just did."
moment. :)
