That's Jonathan Richman, one of the greats of American music, an enduring icon
regarded by many as being as important as the Velvet Underground, the band that inspired
him to become a musician. He's been writing songs, making records and performing live for
over 40 years which is most of his life, winning fans and making friends around the world
