For the sake of nostalgia, is it possible to archive the old forums after they're shut down?
It's not a big deal and I'd understand if it's not feasible. Not even sure I'd ever visit the old forums, but it might feel good to know that they are still there.

Either way it's worth the change to this php format.

will check what database the old board used (it was hosted on a different server - so i've never dealt with it) ... we'll see if a conversion is possible to MS SQL ...

It would be wonderful if the old community board could be archived here, lotsa nostalgia there, plus recent stuff I'd rather not retype
