The P word

Oh man. George Carlin once mocked about the Seven Deadly Words that were not allowed to be said on TV. Its taken almost that long to say "penis" on TV with out ppl watching grimace, squirm in their chair or feel uncomfortable about it. And know, as time has passed, yet again, the other 'P" word, pussy, said by Rob Ford, is shocking the TV world.....But my thought is, if it was written in a novel by a great Canadian writer, it would be herald as great literature.....and isn't the word in the dictionary..???
But its OK to show the horrific pictures of war isn't it ?
