Garlic Green Beans
Boil fresh green beans till just firm consistancy ..Melt butter & fresh chopped garlic.salt & pepper....serve...Note this doesn't work for canned beans as they are too soggy

Candied Carrots
Boil thin sliced carrots with butter salt & pepper & sugar - onions optional (recomend 3table spoons to start)boil down till the liquid is almost gone
during the boilling taste occasionally as to sugar content as too much will wreak it & too little will not get the desired taste.(watch it as the less liquid , the sugar will burn)
what you should be left with is a thick glaze over the carrots.very sweet
touble is with these recipes is they are almost tempting to become a meal by them selves
These two veggie dishes were served at Wellingtons restaurant in toronto
green bean almondene.(i don't like almonds so I omit them but if you like add thin sliced almonds to the recipe!you can go as heavy or light on the garlic as you like I recomend lots!
