Ok, feeling like something to warm you up? Don't mind throwing stuff in the slow cooker and waiting a couple of hours? Then this might be for you.....

Cream of mushroom soup...essential! You can also use cream of broccoli and cheese...I used both, the big cans!
1 cup of milk, doesn't matter what kind...although soy milk might not taste quite right. If you want a thinner soup, add more milk!
Shredded poultry...I have used chicken and turkey, both great
3 tablespoons of garam masala...available at no frills or your local ethnic store
1 or 2 tablespoons of crushed chilies, or some crazy Shuggy stuff if you're adventuresome
Frozen peas and corn....might as well have some veggies in there too...go for 2 cups of each
Chuck it all in the slow cooker on high for 3 hours, then on low for 2. Let it cool for at least 20 minutes or burn your mouth like I did and eat it sooner!

If you are starting with uncooked chicken or turkey, boil in stock for a few hours to make it easy to shred. Adding texmex shredded cheese also adds to the flavour and consistency!

Enjoy and don't blame me if your mouth is on fire afterwards!
