Creamy Pork Chops

2 -3 lbs lean pork chops
1 egg
1 TBLS water
1/2 tsp sage or thyme
salt, pepper and garlic powder
seasoned bread crumbs
1 lb fresh mushrooms
1 can cream of chicken soup
(OR you can use 1 can cream of celery with a tsp of chicken bouillon added)
1/3 cup chicken broth
1 cup light sour cream

preheat oven to 325
Sprinkle salt/pepper/garlic powder to pork chops and beat with a mallet.
Beat egg and add water and sage or thyme to mixure.
Dip pork chops into mix and then into bread crumbs.
In a large skillet, brown porkchops in pam for 5 minutes on each side.
Place pork chops in a 13 x 9 baking pan.
Saute mushrooms in the same skillet untill tender.
Blend can of creamed soup, chicken broth and sour cream into mushrooms
Pour mixture on top of pork chops.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
