Bryan Ferry at Massey Hall last night

Hi everyone

Tis the morning after, the night before, and oh what a night it was!!

A fabulous evening of music from Bryan Ferry, who is, not just a great artist on his own, he attracts great talent to his band, moreover, he has the talent to recognise what his musicians bring to the stage and we can see that he enjoys providing his musicians every opportunity to let this talent shine.

And shine it did, especially in a venue like Massey Hall, which I am sure that any musician would consider just as much of a musical instrument as anything that is on the stage within it. The solo performances by the saxophone player gave me a couple of cases of goosebumps.

A trio of musicians performed an extended version of "India" from the Roxy Music "Avalon" album and it was one of those moments in live music I will never forget.

Bryan, please come back to Massey Hall ASAP.

John

While I didn't make it out to last night's show - Bryan always delivers. He is a very classy guy. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us....

....there is such a steady stream of artists on tour this summer. Amazing!
