If you're reading this, you probably own a guitar. But do you know what "Nocaster" is? Or who produced the first electric guitar? Read on to find out.

1. The oldest guitar-like instrument is approximately 3,500 years old. It belonged to Egyptian singer Har-Mose.

2. First electric guitar was created by George Beauchamp and Adolph Rickenbacher in 1931. It had a metal body.

3. The first wooden body electric guitar was created by Leo Fender and Les Paul in 1950, independently of each other.

4. Early to mid-1951, Fender produced series of guitars with no name on the headstock. Dubbed "Nocasters", these guitars are now valuable collector items.

5. The smallest guitar ever is an instrument created by masters of the Cornell University. It's only 10 microns long.

6. The most expensive guitar in the world is Fender Stratocaster, signed by 19 famous guitarists and sold at a charity auction for $ 2.8 million.

7. In 1995, an Englishman named Chris Black married his guitar. Again, Fender Stratocaster.

8. The famous guitar brand Ibanez was named after the Spanish luthier Salvador Ivanesa. However, over time, the name mutated into Ibanez after the brand's success in North America.

9. Seven-string acoustic guitar is often called the "Russian guitar" or "gypsy guitar".

10. Believe it or not, most toilets flush in E flat:)
