Moody Blues sold out in fifteen minutes

Postby MoodyBlue » Sat Jan 10, 2015 10:34 pm

I tried to get tickets for the April 2nd show of the Moody Blues at the Fallsview. I had problems with my credit card and by the time I got the thing sorted out tickets were sold out.

I got two tickets for the first show on April 1.

Looking forward to it.

Very exciting John. I'm guessing this is all the original Moodies? I remember when I was living in Vancouver, they did a huge outdoor concert (can't recall where but it was on the side of some mountain or something). A huge summer evening.

I'm betting they have replaced all the mellotrons with something that travels better. :-)

Hell David

Yeah, I think that everything that the mellotron was can now fit on a computer chip.

Ray Thomas has retired years ago. He has been replaced by a beautiful young lady. The story behind her joining the Moody Blues is vey funny, it is a delight to watch this youtube video about it:

They have had two dummers for over 25 years, Gordon Marshall joined the group when Graeme Edge had an injury and it worked so well he stayed. When Graeme Edge gets tired he just dits back and points his drum sticks at Gordon.
