On Tuesday evening, I listened to Ideas on CBC radio. The program was called "Shaking the snow globe: Michael Pollan on the therapeutic use of psychedelic drugs" Pollan discusses his new book, "How to Change Your Mind", and his research and experiences with psychedelic drugs and their history.
One of his many revelations was about how psychedelic drugs can enhance one's perception of music, the breathtaking beauty of certain musical performances, and (I'm extending this concept) appreciating the "flow" of music. I'm sure Marsbar has no idea what I'm talking about
The program is well worth a listen, whether you're an old acid-head, or you have never extended the potential of your mind with these wonderful creations of Sandoz labs and the mushroom patch.
