Danny Marks Presents: When Country Met Soul, A Love Story:

Lori Yates, a trailblazer with a renowned voice in Canadian roots music and one of the original pioneers of "Alternative Country" in Canada -~dearly loved as the voice of Hey Stella - The Band's Rick Danko described Yates as having "that desperate Canadian sound," sealing her legendary status.

Known primarily as a songwriter, Toronto based artist, Maggie Fraser stepped up to the mic last year to release "The Way That I Wish It Was", her first record as both singer and songwriter.
